Ghanaian gospel singer, Joe Mettle, has revealed he fell in love with his wife after she uttered three simple words on him – ‘God Bless you’.

Mettle says these three words captured his heart and he knew at that moment he had met his wife.

The singer made these revelations during a recent interview.

According to Mettle, he actually met his wife online, to the surprise of everyone.

Mettle says his wife once reached out to him on social media and that’s how they started communicating and building a bond.

He said at a point, his wife met him at a program and after his performance, told him ‘God bless you’.

Mettle says that simple gesture won his heart and hence they fell in love and got married!

The Gospel singer tied the knot with Solomey Salasie Dzisa at a ceremony held on August 15, 2020.

They welcomed their first child in October 2021.
