Abeiku Santana has a question or two for Almighty God following the passing of Christian Atsu.
Santana, speaking as host of the United Showbiz show held Saturday, February 18th 2023, reacted to the then-fresh news of Atsu’s passing.
Speaking on the show, Abeiku asked why good deeds are now not enough to save people from an early death.
“Nothing can stand in place of death, death is inevitable. With a heavy heart we mourn the death of our brother, Christian Atsu. Job asked God whether man will live again after he dies and God answered him, yes, he will live again.
“In times like this, the testimonies are overwhelming. His colleagues footballers, musicians, journalists, prisoners, orphans, family, everyone, everyone is mourning. So, I ask, why do good people never last on earth? Are our good deeds the basis for long life or what exactly is it? These are the nagging questions we ask ourselves.” he said.
Christian Atsu Twasam died at the age of 31 in Turkey after being crushed under the rubble of the country’s recent earthquake.
Atsu went missing the day of the earthquake, Monday February 6th, and was only found two weeks later on Saturday, February 18th.
