Former Black Stars winger, Christian Atsu, has finally been found, his club Hatayspor has confirmed!
The footballer had been trapped under rubble following the earthquake in Turkey on Monday.
Atsu and club director, Taner Savut, were found ‘missing’ following the earthquake.
Despite a full day of searching, they weren’t found.
Multiple reports came out claiming he had been found but none was true.
However, in the past few minutes, Hatayspor manager Mustafa Ózat confirmed Atsu had been found with injuries.
“Christian Atsu was removed with injuries. Unfortunately, our sporting director Taner Savut is still under the rubble.” he said.
He added after some time: “I just had another meeting. Christian Atsu was taken to hospital with injuries.”
It appears the prayers of Ghanaians in regard to this have been answered.
