International Dancehall Artiste, Stonebwoy blows his own trumpet for being the gatekeeper to Ghanaian Musical Talents.

Livingstone Etse Satekla, known professionally as Stonebwoy has opened up about how he managed to secure an interview with The Breakfast Club Morning Show in New York.

In an Interview with Berla Mundi, Mr Satekla said he worked hard for the past years to attain his present status so as his interview with the Breakfast Club.

He disclosed that, being on the show was as a result of his preparedness and consistency meeting an opportunity.

As the first Ghanaian Artiste to have made it to the show, Stonebwoy praised himself as someone who has been opening doors for other musicians to make waves.

Touching on how much it cost him to be interviewed on such a huge platform, Stonebwoy said networking is expensive but everyone need to put in the effort for a desired result.

He also spoke about how his attempts at securing that interview at the preliminary stages were termed as bootlicking.

He advised his colleagues to network and let go of the fear of being seen as bootlicking if they want to thrive.
