A section of Ghanaians on social media have expressed displeasure in the manner in which the Flagstaff House has been used by American rapper Meek Mill.
It has become a normal activity for famous black Americans of Ghanaian origin to pay a courtesy call to the president at the seat of government, the flagstaff house when they visit the country.
Meek Mill also engaged in that activity but took his trip to the seat of government a step further by shooting a music video there.
Most Ghanaians have described his actions as disrespectful to the powers of the land and questioned the authorities for allowing Meek Mill to shoot a music video at a high-security zone.
American rapper Meek Mill was billed to perform at the annual Afronation concert in Ghana. As a guest in the country, he engaged in various activities to entertain himself, including long hours of dirt bike rides and visits to some of the country’s tourist sites.
He and his team took a trip to the Jubilee House on 30th December 2022 (Friday) to meet the President of Ghana.

He took advantage of the trip and shot some videos which were featured in a music video he shared on his official social media pages on the 7th of January 2023.
Some scenes of the video captured Meeh Mill standing behind the podium H.E Nana Akuffo Addo uses to address major matters concerning the country.
Disciples of Twene Jonas have knocked on the doors of their master saying he deserves a pat on the back for criticizing such a government.
