Singer Mercy Onuawonto Sam known by her stage name, iOna Reine has opened up about her past life before rebirth.

The once upon a time Protégé to Mzbel said she used to sleep with married men. Problems in my marriage forced me to engage in mast*rbation she said.

Speaking to Zionfelix on his show Uncut, iOna said she was a devoted Christian but the issues associated with her divorce pushed her into not so pleasant stuff.

She backslided, no longer goes to church, smokes, drinks sleeps around, and many other things.

According her, she woke up one day and got the enlightenment to return to Christ. She has since stopped sleeping around.

She added that, as a result of her rebirth, she is no longer a secular Artiste. I won’t sing any s*xually explicit song again she said.
