Controversial Ghanaian comedienne, Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, known professionally as Afia Schwarzenegger, has finally appeared in court over her contempt case.
Afia Schwarzenegger clandestinely went to court Tuesday, December 20th 2022, to plead for her 10 days sentence to be lifted.
A video that has surfaced online shows the moment Schwarzenegger stormed the High Court hearing the case with her lawyer and entourage.
According to reporting from Angel TV, the moment Afia stepped foot in court, she started crying and begging for her sentence to be lifted.
The comedienne claimed she cannot be thrown in jail and begged for the judge to convert her sentence to a fine as was done for her co-defendants.
After falling on her knee begging and begging, Schwarzenegger’s lawyer also wrote an apology letter which was publicly circulated.
After her tireless begging, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw, counsel for Chairman Wontumi, also pleaded with the court to disregard her begging and jail her!
After hearing the arguments, the judge adjourned the case to January 17th, 2023.
