Video Goes Viral As Akufo-Addo Presents Award To East Legon Executive Club Big Man Dr Ofori Sarpong

Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong, CEO of the Special Group of Companies and a great friend of Dr Osei Kwame Despite, has been honoured by the Head of State Award Scheme.

Dr Ofori Sarpong was personally presented with the ‘Life Icons’ award by the President of the land, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

The award scheme was held at the Jubilee House in Accra.

Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong is an astute businessman of many years’ experience, a proud product of Presbyterian Boys Secondary School (Presec).

He is the founder of SPECIAL INVESTMENTS LTD which is a real estate and construction business and can boast of a significant number of estate houses and apartments in very strategic areas of the city and numerous office complexes and shops.

In conjunction with a very close friend of his, Dr Osei-Kwame (a.k.a Despite), they formed the United 2 Co. Ltd which is a holding company for the U2 SALT LTD – a 600-acre salt mining company and a refinery at Winneba in the Central Region.

They again co-partnered in setting up a television station by the name UNITED TELEVISION (UTV Ltd) which is currently one of the leading TV stations in the country.
