Controversial artiste manager, Bulldog, has tackled Wizkid after refusing to turn up for a show at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Wizkid was slated to perform at WizkidLive in Accra over the weekend but ended up dodging the concert.
Patrons left disappointed from the show after paying exorbitant prices – some of the tickets cost as much as Ghc 3,000!
Wizkid later apologised, claiming ‘safety and production’ issues was behind his decision not to perform.
However, many people believe he just decided not to show up after seeing the pitiful number of people the show drew!
Reacting on Hitz Fm, Bulldog said this should shut up people always yapping that Ghanaian artistes can’t fill the O2 Arena!
“Now that Wizkid has proven successfully that he cannot fill the stadium, nobody should worry our artistes about filling 02 Arena. He also wasn’t able to fill here. Make dem no come worry anybody. We dey beg. Forget the 02 Arena, Madison Square, and let them come and try the Accra Sports Stadium. Then we can have a conversation,” he said.
He however eulogized International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) founder, Rev. Mensah Otabil, for being the only one who has so far been able to fill the Accra Sports Stadium with his usual 31-watch night service dubbed “Crossover”.
“Otabil is still on our chat. The only person to do it.” Bulldog added.
