Wizkid Breached His Contract – Event Organizers Reveal In Press Statement, Promises To Refund Ticket Fees

Live Hub Entertainment, the organizers of the Wizkid Live In Ghana Concert, addressed the unfortunate incident that happened at the event yesterday.

Patrons who purchased tickets for as much as 8,000 Ghana Cedis and Vip tables worth over 12,000 cedis had no option but to leave the Accra Sports Stadium and return home after waiting hours for Wizkid who did not show up.

In a statement posted across their social media platform, the organizers claimed that the Nigerian musician breached his contractual obligation by refusing to perform although they met all his requests.

They apologized to the patrons for the inconvenience caused and promised a full refund for patrons who want their money back.

To access the refund, the event organizers asked patrons to send their ticket barcodes to their mail.

They said more in the caption which reads; “For any inconvenience, this may have caused, we sincerely apologize. Please provide your ticket barcode to our email so that we can grant everyone a complete refund.”

Meanwhile, some music lovers and disappointed fans of the Afrobeat singer are asking that the laws of Ghana work to have him face the music.

Perhaps they are speaking out of anger and frustration l, especially when the event organizers have promised to refund their monies.

The concert was described as a total waste of time and money by people who came out in their numbers to have a great time but we’re disappointed.

Live videos circulating on social media captured from the event grounds caught moments patrons were trooping out of the Accra Sports Stadium with anger written all over their faces
