Shafik Mahama, son of ex-President John Dramani Mahama and his beautiful Algerian bride, Asma, have welcomed their first child together.
Asma delivered on Tuesday, November 29th 2022, but the couple only revealed the birth on Thursday, December 8th 2022.
Asma took to her Instagram page to deliver the spectacular news.

Sharing a photo of the newborn, she said: “11/29/2022 — Thank you God for my little blessing, al hamdulilah. ❤️ welcome to the world baby Alyazia. 🧸🎀”
The couple have named their daughter Alyazia. According to our searches, the name is an Arabic name meaning ‘leader’.

Shafik and his sweetheart are welcoming the baby 2-and-a-half years after tying the knot.
The couple had a magnificent wedding, holding a private ceremony in Dubai in the company of a few friends and family who were readily available for the occasion.

They tied the knot in July 2020.
The couple met in Dubai whilst schooling. They also reside in the Emirati city.
