Davido Announces Music Comeback With Performance At World Cup Closing Ceremony On December 18th

Nigerian musician Davido has reportedly agreed to make his comeback to music with a performance at the World Cup closing ceremony in just over a week’s time.

Hong Kong businessman, Stephen Hung, confirmed the news, revealing negotiations to secure the Nigerian for the historic performance have been concluded.

“So happy my bro @davido confirmed he will perform at the World Cup Qatar closing ceremony. Can’t wait to see him there,” Hung wrote on social media.

The World Cup final is slated for Sunday, December 18th, with the closing ceremony to happen just before the football World Champion is decided over 90 minutes of football.

Davido is currently grieving after losing his 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, in a drowning incident.

Ifeanyi, the son of the Nigerian and his 3rd baby mama and now rumoured wife, Chioma Rowland, drowned in the swimming pool at the singer’s Banana Island mansion.

He died close to two months ago and since then, the singer has been in mourning with limited public appearances.

His music career has also been put on hold.

Per this new information, his comeback would be on December 18th.
