Ghanaians have changed their tune over the Black Stars’ exit from the World Cup and are now pleased to be home after Brazil demolished the Republic of Korea in their Round of 16 encounter.
Brazil showed no mercy to the Koreans Monday night as they met in the World Cup, beating them comfortably with 4 quick and easy goals in the first half.
South Korea got a goal back in the 2nd half but it was for nothing.
Ghana would have met Brazil had we qualified from our group and perhaps would have collected even more goals into our net!
After watching what Brazil did to Korea, Ghanaians are praising Dede Ayew for missing the crucial penalty in Ghana’s game against Uruguay.
After initially attacking him, netizens are now hailing him for saving Ghana from what happened to Korea – or worse!
“We, Ghanaians all need to assemble and apologise to Dede Ayew. Guy saved us the heartache of a heavy drubbing on a Cold Monday evening,” one netizen wrote.
Another hilariously said: “Dede Ayew saved my mother from BP,”
Unlike Asamoah Gyan, who was crucified for over a decade due to missing a crucial penalty against Uruguay, it looks like Dede Ayew is going to get it easy in the coming years.
