Uruguayan Footballer, Luis Suarez who robbed the Ghana Black Stars of an opportunity to win the FIFA 2010 World Cup said there’s no need to apologize to Ghanaians.

Speaking ahead of the Ghana Vs Uruguay clash on 2nd December, 2022 at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Luis said he has already served his punishment.
According to Suarez, although he caught the Ball to prevent a goal in 2010, he was given a red card and Ghana awarded a penalty.
He continued to say it’s unfortunate that Ghana couldn’t make good use of the penalty given hence their inability to win the match.

Luis asserted that, he wasn’t the one who missed the penalty hence no need to apologize to Ghanaians.
Suarez in a clash between Uruguay and Ghana during the 2010 FIFA World Cup hit the ball with his hand and denied Ghana of what would have been their passport to the semi- finals.
He was penalized with a red card and penalty awarded but Ghana’s Baby jet, Asamoah Gyan failed to convert the penalty into a goal.
