The 2022 Music of Black Origins (MOBO) awards came off the night of Wednesday, November 30th 2022 and there was a surprise performance from our own Black Sherif.
Killer Blacko was announced as a special guest performer on the night and killed it with his performance on stage.
Sherif performed his first truly national hit, Second Sermon, performing a stunning performance of Kwaku the Traveler.

The Ghanaian act was spectacular with his performance and got a standing ovation.

The 2022 MOBO awards were held at Wembley Arena in London.
The show was hosted by funny men Chunkz and Yung Filly and saw performances from none other than Kojey Radical, Cat Burns, FLO, Fireboy DML and many others.
This year’s awards was the 25 anniversary of the MOBOs which has over the years championed homegrown talent and set the standard in Rap, Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul, Grime, Drill, Gospel, Jazz, Reggae, Garage and Drum & Bass.
