Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, a former black stars player, has bet to shave the hair on his head if Ghana fails to progress from the group stages of the 2022 World Cup.
The Former Ghana midfielder made this known during a live show on Tv3 while acknowledging the new Blackstars team.
Agyemang-Badu’s confidence in the new Blackstars team was so strong that he said the team should easily qualify from the round of 16.

“Gradually we are doing well with set pieces. We are not up there yet. Now that we have a good bench. I’m not too sure that this team will go down if they cannot qualify from the group. If it doesn’t happen I will shave all my hair.”
Ghana is in Group H of the 2022 World Cup and will be facing Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay to progress to the next round of the Mundial.
“I can bet everything this team will qualify from the group. If Ghana doesn’t qualify from the group stage, I will shave it here. I am so optimistic about this team,” he added.
The Black Stars will start their World Cup on November 24 with a game against Portugal.
31-year-old Agyemang-Badu was part of the Blackstars squad for the 2014 world cup which saw Ghana eliminated in the group stages.
