Reggae Legend Rocky Dawuni Scores His Third Grammy Nomination in A Bid to Become the First Ghanaian to Win the Coveted Award

Rocky Dawuni, a Ghanaian international reggae musician, has been nominated for a Grammy for the third time.

The internationally acclaimed Ghanaian artiste will compete for the third time at the 65th Grammy Awards in 2022.

Rocky Dawuni’s third Grammy nomination comes after he failed to win both the 2015 and 2021 nominations.

The legendary musician is gunning for the win with his ‘Neva Bow Down’ featuring Blvk H3ro, in the Best Global Music Performance category.

Rocky’s “Neva Bow Down” jam was released on September 22, 2022, and has enjoyed a great reception across the globe.

Arooj Aftab, Anoushka Shankar, Matt B, Eddy Kenzo, Burna Boy, Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini, and Nomcebo Zikode are among the competitors.
