Youth And Sports Ministry To Launch Official Black Stars World Cup Anthem On November 14th

The official anthem for the Black Stars 2022 Qatar World Cup campaign is set to be launched tomorrow, Monday, November 14th 2022.

The launch of the anthem comes off at the Skybar 25 in the Villagio Vista complex in Accra.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports are organising the event, in collaboration with The Kentos Music Band.

Sponsored by Torrid and organised by OMC, the event kicks off at approximately 7pm Monday (November 14th).

Ghana’s Black Stars are bound for the 2022 Fifa World Cup in Qatar, where they face a daunting task in Group H.

Ghana are slated to face Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay in their three group games.

Music, and dance, have long been powerful motivational tools for the Stars and this year is no exception, with the official anthem expected to galvanise Ghanaians to root for the team in their difficult ties.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports, in collaboration with the Ghana Football Association, will oversee the Black Stars’ participation at the World Cup.

The Kentos Music Band is a Ghanaian band, a collective including 15 members. It was formed in June 2021 by Nikola Jeremic and Ekow Joe.

Ghana commences her World Cup finals journey against Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal on Thursday, November 24th 2022.
