50 Cent To Release A Series To Honor Nigerian Scammer Hushpuppi

American rapper and movie producer 50 Cent, has announced intentions to release a movie series based on the story of notorious Nigerian internet fraudster, hushpuppi.

Ramon Abass, best known as Hushpuppi, was a popular fraudster until his arrest in Dubai, on June 2020.

In his prime, Hushpuppi defrauded over 1.9 million people, the majority of whom were Americans, and amassed wealth for himself.

On Monday, a United States District Court sitting in the Central District of California sentenced Hushpuppi to 11 years and three months after he was found guilty of laundering proceeds of a school financing scam, business email compromise, and other fraudulent cyber schemes.

50 Cent shared pictures of Hushpuppi on Instagram and aired plans of producing a movie based on his story.

He indicated that he was producing the movie for the scammers.

“For my scammers, I gotta do this one. Hushpuppi series coming soon! GLG, Green Light Gang I don’t miss. #Bransoncognac #lecheminduroi #gunitfilmandtv,” the G-Unit Records founder wrote in the caption.
