Medikal has vowed to stay off Twitter after his account was permanently suspended for impersonation.
The Ghanaian rapper was the first to be banned on the bird app after new CEO Elon Musk laid down the new rules for the social app.
Elon Musk, in a tweet on Monday, disclosed that any account that impersonates another individual without specifying that it is a parody will risk being terminated permanently.
Three days after, Rapper Medikal changed his Twitter account name and profile to the president of Ghana and as the rules demand, it was suspended.
Reacting to the sad incident, Medikal has taken to Instagram to indicate that he will not create a new account and does not think he will return to Twitter soon.
He stated clearly that his team and some selected influencers on the app will disseminate any information that needs to go on Twitter while he sticks to his other active social media pages.
“I’m off Twitter for now, no new account will be created. @kayljay and my team will be sharing my new releases and any important information concerning Medikal. Love y’all,” his post read.
