Ghanaian Socialite Ama Governor Vents After Petition to Bar Her from Practicing Law Falls Through

Ghanaian socialite and YouTuber Elorm Ababio, popularly known as Ama Governor, has been barred from joining the law profession.

Ama Governor and her colleagues were scheduled to be called to the Ghana Bar on Friday.

Sadly, she completed the professional law program, passing and scaling the interview session.

The secretary of the General Legal Council informed her of the decision.

A “concerned citizen” is said to have filed a complaint alleging that she “lacks good character.”

The General Legal Council has formed a three-person committee to investigate the complaint.

Her call to the bar has been put on hold pending the investigation’s outcome.

This development has set Twitter talking amid condemnation by many regarding the decision of the General Legal Council.
