Kanye West has raised eyebrows following a claim Quentin Tarantino stole the idea for Django Unchained from him.
The rapper said he originally pitched the idea to the filmmaker as a video for one of his songs.

Kanye West made an appearance on Piers Morgan’s show.
Morgan teased earlier in the week that the interview would be “extraordinary” and “fiery.”
The interview took an unexpected turn when West brought up a film by Quentin Tarantino, who he claims stole the idea from him.
According to West, the premise of the 2012 western film Django Unchained was inspired by the video for the hit song ‘Gold Digger.’
The video was released in 2005 and featured Jamie Foxx as a singer.
Django Unchained follows a formerly enslaved person (Jamie Foxx) as he joins forces with a bounty hunter to rescue his wife.
West told Morgan: “Tarantino can write a movie about slavery where he and Jamie [Foxx] got the idea from me because the idea for Django I pitched to Jamie Foxx and Quentin Tarantino for the video for ‘Gold Digger’.”
