BBNaija Rico Swavey has died today, Thursday, October 13th 2022 after failing to survive the aftermath of a ghastly accident which left him hospitalised.
Fellow ex-housemates, Alex Unusual and Tobi Bakre, confirmed Rico’s sad passing on social media early Thursday.
On Twitter, Alex wrote: “This is not what we agreed Rico. Rest in peace,”

Meanwhile, Tobi shared a photo of himself and Rico with the caption: “This is how I will remember us brother.”
Earlier, it had been reported that Rico was in critical condition after being involved in a car accident.
Alex revealed the news on Twitter Tuesday, writing: “Good morning sweethearts. Please put @iamricoswavey in your prayers today. He was involved in a ghastly accident hours ago and the doctors are still trying to resuscitate him as I just left the hospital. It’s really critical.”
A fundraiser was later set up for Rico but sadly he passed away before it could make any impact.
