The Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has raved about the incredible Vice President of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, as he celebrated his birthday on Friday, October 7th.
Dr Bawumia turned 59 and Kojo Oppong Nkrumah celebrated him with a thoughtful message extolling his virtues.
According to him, Dr Bawumia is one of the brightest sparks the NPP has ever seen.
“Happy birthday VP Mahamudu Bawumia. You are one of the brightest sparks the NPP has seen in our journey so far. May the good Lord increase you in grace for the journey ahead,” he wrote on Twitter.
Dr Bawumia’s 59th birthday saw him receiving several of such goodwill messages from his family, friends and colleagues.
The first to wish him on the day was his wife, Second lady Samira Bawumia.
Samira took to social media to celebrate her husband and the second gentleman of Ghana.
In a short but sweet message, Samira praised Bawumia for his commitment to their family and the whole nation of Ghana and called for Allah’s blessings on him to keep him going.
Samira wrote: “Happy 59th birthday, sweetheart Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. We’re grateful to Allah for protecting and guiding you throughout the years. The kids and I are proud of your commitment to our family and the entire nation.”
She shared a photo of herself and her ‘sweetheart’ to accompany her message.
In a related post, the Vice President of Imani Africa Mr Kofi Bentil, also heaped praises on Ghana’s Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, on the occasion of his 59th birthday.
In a post on social media, Bentil said Bawumia is ‘made of the right stuff’, adding that he’s a strong tree and would survive any storm thrown at him.
“The strongest trees are those that bend in the storm but don’t break. You are a strong tree. You will stand through every storm,” Mr Bentil wrote.
He added: “When it’s all done you will wave your leaves and branches in victory when the calm comes after the storm. I will be there clapping. I won’t be surprised. I know you’re made of the right stuff. Happy Birthday champ. You are blessed. It is clear.”
