Your Show Didn’t Trend Abroad Because Shatta Wale Was Left Out – Rosemond Brown Fires Organisers Of Global Citizens Festival

Controversial actress Rosemond Brown aka Akuapem Poloo, has slammed organisers of the Global Citizens Festival concert for excluding Shatta Wale from the show.

Poloo recorded a video to rant over Shatta Wale’s exclusion, as well as that of a few other top Ghanaian stars.

According to Poloo, leaving Shatta Wale off the bill for the show was an unforgivable sin which ended up making the show flop.

She said that adding Shatta would have made Nigerians and even some blogs abroad more likely to blog about the show.

In Poloo’s eyes, the lack of Shatta Wale made Nigerian and foreign blogs ignore the Global Citizen festival in its entirety.

She also lamented the fact that Adina, Medikal, Wendy Shay, Becca and other top Ghanaian stars were left out.

The Global Citizen festival occurred over the weekend – Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Gyakie were a few of the Ghanaian artistes on the bill of the show whilst Nigerians and foreigners like Usher, Tems and Sza also performed.

It’s obvious the artistes who had global appeal were chosen for the show and local champions like Shatta were left out.
