Blacko is the second Ghanaian artist aside from Sarkodie to be nominated in this category of awards after it was introduced in 2019.
Following his nomination, fans are in a jolly mood congratulating him for his hard work, others are also roasting musician Shatta Wale who in the past attacked Black Sherif out of jealousy.
Some fans are teasing Shatta Wale for still being a local champion.
According to them, Shatta Wale is currently in pain because he’s been in the industry for over a decade and still hasn’t been recognised internationally, not even a single nomination.
Meanwhile, Shatta Wale had said that Ghanaians should not compare young Blacko to him or any of the big guys because that could affect his career.
