‘New’ GOT, House Of The Dragon Renewed For Season Two After Just One Episode

The Game of Thrones (GOT) spin-off currently airing on HBO Max, House of the Dragon, has already been renewed for a 2nd season after just one episode.

HBO announced the renewal after a stunning premiere episode which shattered streaming records.

“We are beyond proud of what the entire House of the Dragon team has accomplished with season one,” Francesca Orsi, executive vice president of HBO programming, said in a statement.

“Our phenomenal cast and crew undertook a massive challenge and exceeded all expectations, delivering a show that has already established itself as must-see-TV. A huge thank you to George, Ryan, and Miguel for leading us on this journey. We couldn’t be more excited to continue bringing to life the epic saga of House Targaryen with season two.

House of the Dragon is a prequel of Game of Thrones, set in the same world of Westeros created by George R.R. Martin.

GOT became a generational success that made HBO ungodly profits for a decade.

Per the start House of the Dragon has had, it might just be another cash cow!

House of the Dragon stars Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Fabien Frankel, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans. Additional cast includes Milly Alcock, Bethany Antonia and more.
