Veteran actress Grace Omaboe, a.k.a. Maame Dokono, among other celebrities, has laid the late actor Prince Yawson to rest.

Prince Yawson, a.k.a. Waakye, was reported dead on August 2nd, 2022 at the 37 Military Hospital after battling an illness.

Waakye has been in several notable Ghanaian films.

The actor acknowledged rumors about his sickness in October 2020 but stated that God had cured him.

This followed claims that he had had a mild stroke years before.

On the other hand, Waakye seems to have rehabilitated and found his purpose as an ordained Reverend Minister in April 2021.

After formally retiring from the film industry, he attended a Bible school in Accra to prepare for his new religious job.

Many Ghanaians were stunned to learn of his passing and flocked to social media to express their condolences.

Expressing her condolences at the late actor’s funeral, a visibly angry Maame Dokono had this painful message for Ghanaians.
