Actress Nana Ama McBrown has revealed that there was a point in her career when she was broke with nothing to her name after being sidelined by Kumawood.
According to her, her career started picking up a bit in the early 2000s when all of a sudden, she developed enemies without knowing why.
She revealed that at this point, the top dogs in Kumawood sidelined her and stopped placing her in any movies.
McBrown recounted how difficult things became at that time because she was dependent on her income from Kumawood.
Speaking in an interview with Dave Hammer on Pure 95.7fm, McBrown told the story of her she suffered in the early days before making it.
According to her, after being sidelined in 2006/7, she was suffering financially until the host she was speaking to, Dave Hammer, brought her some endorsement deals to sign.
McBrown confirmed the issue was later resolved and she started getting movies again but did not disclose why she was sidelined.
The actress is apparently on some sort of tour to rehabilitate her image after her controversies of recent weeks.
Mcbrown was one of Ghana’s most beloved actresses until she allowed Afia Schwar Asibolanga to take over her show and disgrace Chairman Wontumi without checking her.
Following that, she confirmed undergoing liposuction but keeps denying she’s had any work done on her bum despite it being very obvious.
Public perception has turned against McBrown a bit and in a reply to her critics, she said she always has God on her side hence people criticising her should hope she never calls God’s wrath upon their heads!
