The annual Ada “Asafotufiam” festival saw some exciting activities as Shatta Wale stormed the Ada community.
The dancehall singer was part of a long list of performers billed to entertain members of the Ada community.
Making a statement yesterday, August 06, Shatta Wale rode in a convoy to announce his presence.
Not only did he cause a frenzy, he further caused a disturbance by spraying money all over an excited crowd.
This prompted fans to fight amongst themselves in order to obtain a few notes for themselves.
Meanwhile, check out the chaotic video below.
In one instance, a die-hard fan refused to give way to the convoy as he stood in front of Shatta’s land cruiser.
A police officer was seen grabbing the fan and dragging him away, but the fan refused.
The love for Shatta Wale was immense as his fans showed they could get themselves harmed for him.
Netizens further reacted to the video by criticizing Shatta Wale.
Many called him a local champion who hasn’t done enough to be recognized beyond Ghana.
Furthermore, performing with the likes of upcoming artists for an “OG” of his stature is very underwhelming.
Check out a few of their reactions below.
