Hollywood actor Will Smith has spoken up for the first time since the infamous Oscar’s slap of comedian Chris Rock and apologised once again.
A sad-looking and depressed Smith bared his chest for the first time since the day of the slap at the 2022 Oscars.
According to him, he’s been making attempts to get in touch with Chris Rock but the comic isn’t ready to talk yet.
“It’s all fuzzy. I’ve reached out to Chris and the message that came back is he’s not ready to talk, and when he is, he will reach out,” Smith said.

According to him, he was triggered by Chris’ joke about his wife’s hair as he knows her struggle with alopecia.
He however conceded that wasn’t the right way to react.
“There is no part of me that thinks that was the right way to behave in that moment. There’s no part of me that thinks that’s the optimal way to handle a feeling of disrespect or insults,” he continued.
Almost fighting back tears throughout the video, Rock apologised to his family for putting them in the public spotlight negatively.
He also swatted aside those blaming Jada as the one who made him attack Chris Rock.
“It’s like, you know, I made a choice on my own, from my own experiences, from my history with Chris. Jada had nothing to do with it. I’m sorry, babe. I want to say sorry to my kids and my family for the heat that I brought on all of us,” he said.

The world was shocked on March 27th 2022 when during the 94th Academy Awards, Will Smith stormed the stage to slap comedian and actor Chris Rock.
Rock made a joke about Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett looking bald.
Jada suffers from alopecia, although Rock evidently didn’t know that.
An angry Smith stormed the stage and slapped Rock, then returned to his seat and later won the Best Actor Oscar.
He apologised on social media a few days later but has been in hibernation since then – until today.
