The mother of actress Tracey Boakye has been captured on tape giving her daughter a piece of advice that will save her new union with Frank Badu Ntiamoah forever.
As custom demands in Ghana, a traditional wedding ( engagement) is done for couples who wish to marry each other before a church or white wedding.
Families of both parties meet, to have a conversation and also advise the newly wedded as well as exchange gifts ( dowry).
It was during this ceremony that Tracey Boakye’s mother advised her never to divorce her husband Frank.
With a quivering voice and tears running down her cheeks, Tracey Boakye’s mother told her to never think of divorce when a misunderstanding happens in their marriage.
She disclosed that her new son-in-law has shown her family love and thus she does not want to see her daughter leave their matrimonial home.
No issue on earth cannot be solved through a proper dialogue and a sit-down meeting with family, in her opinion as an elderly, hence divorce is not an option.

Social media users have been divided in two over the advice given by Tracey’s mother.
While some applaud her, others say it is words like this that force women to stay in abusive relationships.

She and her husband wore kente clothes in matching colors to signify their togetherness.
