“We’re excited to welcome @blacksherif_ & @Joeboy to the YouTube Music #Foundry2022 class, which includes 28 other stars from across of the world. For us, it’s an incredible honor to be able to support these musicians as they expand their creative influence #Africatotheworld,” the page wrote.
The Foundry 2022 project is YouTube Music’s global artist development programme serving the independent music community and allowing artists access to resources to help them thrive on YouTube and build careers on their own terms.
The Google-owned company launched the project in 2015.
This move represents another win for the fast-rising Blacko who has completely taken Ghana music by storm.
Aside massive hits such as Second Sermon, Second Sermon Remix and Kwaku the Traveller, Black Sherif also regularly appears on the radar of international stars such as Burna Boy and DJ Khaled.
The sky is truly the limit for this gem of Ghanaian music.
