UK-Based Sonnie Badu Bitterly Calls Out Local Gospel Musicians Sabotaging His Career

An angry Sonnie Badu has called out Ghanaian gospel musicians for sabotaging his career and trying to bring him down.

The UK-based singer and minister, the only human-Lion in history, took aim at nameless and faceless gospel singers in a recent post.

Badu said there are many local singers who insult him and do everything possible to destroy his career, including going to the extent of paying DJs not to play his songs.

He made this revelation in a conversation with Pastor Brian Amoateng.

Amoateng enquired on why Ghanaian gospel singers are so talented yet cannot progress their craft to an appreciable level.

“Ghanaian gospel musicians are so gifted. What is limiting them? (just thinking) #PastorBrian,” he wrote.

Sonnie Badu quickly jumped into the comments to make his opinion heard.

“Lack of respect for those who have gone ahead of them..and 2 they pretend they are united in public but in their closet they are against each other,” he wrote.

A shocked Pastor Brian replied and asked Sonnie what he’s doing to help solve these issues.

Badu then went on to lament how they hate him hence he’s leaving them to their fates.

“Yaw paa…where is my honor in all I have done with the help of God for Africa gospel/music, they have WhatsApp groups they insult me on, they teamed up with radio station DJs to ensure my songs were not played,” he fired.
