King Promise released his 5 Star album in less than 24 hours and it is already topping charts on music streaming platforms in the country.

The album has kicked Burna Boy’s ‘Love, Damini’ album to the second position to occupy the number one spot on Apple Music Top 100 Album Chart in Ghana.

Burna Boy released his ‘Love’ Damini album on Thursday, July 7, 2022, on Apple Music while King Promise released his today, July 22 but it is currently occupying the top position on the chart.

King Promise shared the exciting news on his Twitter handle with a screenshot of the chart.

Ghanaian singer and songwriter, King Promise born, Gregory Bortey Newman, seems to be having a good run with his sophomore studio album, ‘5 Star’.

The latest studio album is King Promise’s second studio album after releasing ‘As Promised’ in 2020.

‘5 Star’ album is a 15-track album that has features from Grammy-nominated American rappers Vic Mensa and Chance the Rapper, Patoranking and Omah Lay from Nigeria, Headie One, WSTERN, and a lot more.
