The NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has sued Nana Ama McBrown, Afia Schwarzenegger and others.
Wontumi has dragged them all to court for contempt!
A copy of the suit, filed today, July 14 2022 at the High Court in Tema, names United Showbiz host Nana Ama McBrown, comedienne Afia Schwarzenegger, Despite Media General Manager Fadda Dickson, political commentator and musician Kwame A Plus, and entertainment pundit Mr. Logic as co-defendants.
A screenshot of the suit has surfaced online.
Check it out below…
The suit comes after Afia Schwarzenegger was given free rein on United Showbiz last Saturday to denigrate Chairman Wontumi.
Recall Afia Schwarzenegger previously claimed that she dated Wontumi and he farts in bed – an angry Wontumi dragged her to court for defamation.
As has happened in the past, Afia got free airtime on the UTV show to respond to the scandal – the same thing happened after she was kicked off a KLM flight and after she embarrassed herself with lies against the Chief of Staff following her father’s death.
Afia came and lay more allegations against Wontumi, embarrassing him even further.
Ghanaians lambasted UTV for their biased coverage of the issue and giving Asibolanga freedom to disrespect such a man without any response.

McBrown was blasted as well for her poor showing as host.
After almost a week of backlash, McBrown reportedly called Wontumi earlier today to beg for forgiveness.
UTV later did the same.
It appears neither apology had any effect as Wontumi has taken the case to court – citing all named defendants for contempt.
