Veteran Ghanaian actress, Nana Ama McBrown has sent some words of caution to talented Ghanaian rapper, Lasmid.
McBrown has advised Lasmid to be careful about his utterances in his interviews in order to protect his growing brand.
McBrown shared this advice with Lasmid in a surprise phone call placed on Hitz FM Daybreak show with Andy Dosty.
McBrown revealed she likes Lasmid and likes what he’s doing by his talent and also the opportunity presented for him to be touring the media to sell himself, but he should guide his words.
Nana Ama also advised him to focus on his craft and went ahead to heap praises on the artist, especially for how far he’s come.
‘We all struggled to be here, right? And we didn’t have this opportunity of having a lot of radio stations and tv stations that we could move around to express how we feel for people to hear of us. I just tuned in, and for one reason, I like him.
‘I like Lasmid. And I just want to make this call and tell him that what he’s doing, he’s on the right track. At the moment, I hear some small small news around him; he has said this, he did this.
‘Please Lasmid, if you can listen to me, pay attention to your craft. These things will come. But don’t forget what you are full of, your vision. However, you have to also mind how you also talk in your interviews. So that won’t be a bombshell ahead of you.’
Lasmid is the latest Ghanaian young rapper making waves in the media currently. His song ‘Friday Night’ is enjoying airplay and topping charts.
The young musician has recently in an interview that he is the biggest artiste in Ghana at the moment.
