UK-based Ghanaian musician Sonnie Badu’s quick response to his alleged receipt of $50,000 has dug up more scandal.
This happened after a Twitter query prompted the gospel musician to clear the air regarding a 5-minute 15-second performance.

“Wow, thanks for alerting me, I was not given a dime .. not even a seat for me and my team, We stood outside…” Sonnie Badu responded.

In what appears to be more controversies that continue to hit Ghana’s national cathedral project, Diana Hamilton’s management has also spoken.
According to Diana’s management, the award-winning gospel artiste made no financial demands for her national cathedral fundraiser performance.
“When you say artistes were paid, does it mean that the artist charged or they were appreciated because as far as I know. we didn’t charge.”
David Ennin, Diana’s manager, explained this in an interview with Metro TV, indicating they were given money for ‘fuel”.

“I think they appreciated us, but that one I can’t disclose the amount], and it was not anything close to any charge. That one we didn’t charge. Diana Hamilton performed, but she didn’t charge. But I quite remember: I think they gave something for what she did.”
