Ghanaian rapper Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur, known professionally as Kwesi Arthur, has gotten himself into trouble over his origins.
Arthur said in an interview that he’s from Tema.
Netizens dumped on him for not knowing where exactly he comes from.
According to fans, this current generation have no appreciation for their roots.
Kwesi Arthur was interviewed by Pulse Ghana and was asked a multitude of personal questions he had to answer.
The first question was, What is your full name and where do you come from?
He answered: “My full name is Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur and I come from Tema,”
That didn’t sit well with some fans.
Arthur is Fante hence there is no way he can come from Tema as that is a Ga area.
One fan fired: “Go ask ur parents where u come from den stop joking….”
Another said: “Kwahu Man says he comes from Tema ……. this Generation,”
