The subtle battle is between Asamoah Gyan’s manager and the spokesperson for the Ayew family.
Asamoah Gyan’s manager, Sammy Anim Addo, was involved in a verbal exchange with Fiifi Tackie on Tuesday, April 3, 2022.
Fiifi Tackie tweeted, dismissing notions that Asamoah Gyan is the first Ghanaian footballer to issue an autobiography.
The spokesperson of the Ayew family further added some archived photos to back his claim and solidify his point.
Furthermore, Fiifi revealed that the three-time African Player of the year had an autobiography written both in English and French.
He wrote, “The Maestro’ Abedi Ayew Pele’s Autobiography was written in 1992 in English and French versions. This is a copy of the French version. ”

Sammy Anim Addo later attacked Fiifi Tackie, claiming that the latter was attempting to detract from Gyan’s successful book launch.
Anim Addo couldn’t comprehend why Fiifi Tackie was making war on Abedi Pele simply because he despises the name Asamoah Gyan.
