Kennedy Agyapong received a punch in the throat in court as his defamation case against Kevin Taylor is thrown out.
A U.S District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia dismissed his case as having no merit.
The court says Aguapong failed to prove that Taylor’s comments were defamatory.

As GhanaCelebrities.Com previously reported, Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong dragged Kevin Taylor to court.
He alleged comments that Taylor passed on his show defamed him.
He dragged him to court in Virginia, demanding $9.5m in damages.
Taylor expressed no fear over the suit and warned Agyapong that proving defamation in the United States is incredibly hard.
Judge Liam O’Grady’s judgement proved him right.
The judge rubbished Agyapong’s defamation claims in his ruling.
“It is undisputed that Agyapong is a public figure and Taylor’s statements were made regarding matters of public concern. The Amended Complaint does not plead any factual material that demonstrates Taylor’s disputed statements were published with actual malice.” the ruling read.
“Therefore, Agyapong has not adequately plead an actionable claim. Further, the Amended Complaint does not plausibly state a claim under the Virginia Computer Crimes Act.
“For these reasons, the Motion to Dismiss the Amended Complaint (Dkt. 13) is GRANTED and the above captioned civil action is DISMISSED,” the ruling added.
The MP has been given 60 days to appeal the ruling if he so wishes.
