Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ Deserves to Win ‘Song Of The Year’ At The Grammys – Nicki Minaj Advocates

Nicki Minaj with some mainstream American artistes have began campaign for Nigerian singer Wizkid to grab a Grammy award this year.

Nicki Minaj was a guest on American rappers Joe Budden’s podcast and she spoke about why she thinks Wizkid deserves to win Song of the Year at the Grammys.

Budden was first to raise the topic and drew Nicki’s attention to the secret agenda of the Grammy board to sideline African artistes who brole boundaries with their songs.

He said there shouldn’t be any argument in putting Wizkid on the song of the year category at the 2022 Grammys decause he deserves it.

They raised that the Grammy Board need to recognize ‘Essence’, Wizkid’s Song which features Tems and Justin Bieber as the Song Of The Year at the 2022 Grammys.

Nicki Minaj knodded in affirmation and added that it is about time the black community in America also formed their own Grammy board to push black artistes who deserve nomination and recognition.
