A shocking audio of a prank pulled on TV3’s Cookie Tee by her colleague Giovani Caleb has netizens calling out celebrities for being cheap.

The audio sees Giovani Caleb calling Cookie Tee on her birthday last week, pretending to be a rich doctor who just wants to send her well wishes.

Just hearing that a rich man has called her to wish her and promising her gifts was enough for Cookie to lower her guard and almost agree to everything he said.

Once he said he has a gift for her, she jokingly mentioned that she wants a Bugatti (what?), a comment which also annoyed netizens.

The supposed rich man then promised her a trip abroad for a vacation with any person of her choice.

A super excited Cookie Tee asked him to WhatsApp her so they can take their conversation on from there.

Giovani Caleb then shattered Cookie’s dreams by revealing that he was the so-called rich man and that the prank was planned by her friend and colleague, Anita Akufo.

The audio of the prank has popped up online and sparked numerous discussions on Instagram.
