Prophet Nigel Gaisie of the Prophetic Hill Chapel faces a gruelling police interrogation over his 31st night Umuofia prophecies.
The ‘clever’ man of God, in an attempt to circumvent the directives of the Ghana Police Service over 31st-night prophecies, turned to the town of ‘Umuofia’ as the recipient of his prophecies.
Nigel claimed that the Nigerian town, made popular by Chinua Achebe’s ‘Things Fall Apart’, was where he was directing his prophecies to and not Ghana.
It was a thinly veiled attempt to prophesy about Ghana without technically mentioning Ghana.
Gaisie’s pathetic attempt to skirt the police directive has now come to bite him in the backside.
According to reports, the police have invited him to come in and explain his prophecies from the night.
Gaisie has taken to social media to reveal this and claims the police have been trying multiple tactics to intimidate him.
“Sad, Times..They harassed me with E.C.G…After paying the agreed amount, they switched off my lights again. Came to off my lights with armed men. (Police With Guns)
“31st December, they came to my church premises with about 80 police men and women. Today, invitation to come speak on prophetic utterances….SAD TIMES.” he wrote.
Gaisie has a proclivity for disregarding the orders of ‘men’ because he claims to serve a higher purpose and if he does so here, we might see him arrested and cuffed for real.

In reaction, netizens have expressed amazement over Dampare’s decision to still go after Giaisie despite his ‘Umuofia’ distraction.
“Dampare is the king of petty at this point,” one amused social media user wrote, with tons of laughing emojis accompanying their post.
