Young Ghanaian musician Kelvynboy has been remanded into police custody for assaulting his baby mama of 10 years.
The singer was in court on Tuesday, February 22nd 2022 after he was arrested.
He is alleged to have assaulted his baby mama of 10 years and mother of his two children by hitting her with an iron rod and stamping on her ribs!
Police arrested him following a complaint from the baby mama and arraigned him before court Tuesday.
He was remanded into police custody to reappear today, February 23rd, for a bail application.
According to reports, the musician got angry after his baby mama asked him for money to treat their sick daughter.
Kelvynboy at the time was with another woman and out of anger, he beat up his baby mama.
Prosecutors say he stamped on her ribs and hit her with an iron rod repeatedly.
He was arrested after she reported him to authorities.
Kelvynboy’s arrest follows the trend of Ghanaian musicians being put behind bars recently including Medikal and Shatta Wale.
