Wendy Shay has been called out by some netizens after announcing over the weekend that she’s celebrating her 26th birthday.

The RuffTown Records singer celebrated her birthday on Sunday, February 20th 2021, and took to social media to rejoice.

According to her, she’s now turning 26.

“I thank God for another year. I thank God for my life. 26 years young today. #Godschild” she wrote.

Reactions to the photo have seen some fans calling her out for trying to deceive them.

According to social media users, Ghanaian celebrities refuse to age and are always reducing their ages on social media.

Apparently, some of the young celebs absolutely refuse to turn 30.

Meanwhile, those who are way above 30 keep their ages as low as they can such as Tracey Boakye, who claims to be 31 and evergreen Diamond Appiah, who should be 45 in a just world but claims to be in her mid-thirties.
