Boomplay has caused chaos after it released the accumulated streams between some of Ghana’s biggest musicians, from Sarkodie to Black Sheriff.
In the release, Shatta Wale comes in the fourth position with 34.9 million.
Fast-rising singer and rapper, Black Sheriff unexpectedly occupied the third position with 35.7 million streams.

The numbers between Black Sheriff and Shatta Wale became the talking point for fans on Facebook, who declared Shatta Wale an artiste with little to no substance.
The reason for their contention is that it was baffling to think that an upcoming act with just 10 songs outperformed Shatta Wale.
See a few of their reactions.
In furtherance of this debate, a majority of fans bemoaned the fact that Shatta Wale’s millions of streams were owed to not one song or ten songs, but a whopping 967 studio recorded songs.
In other words, the self-acclaimed dancehall king picked up the microphone almost one thousand times to sing only to play runner-up to a newcomer.
Hence, the conclusion that Shatta Wale only releases songs that are pure trash.
In fairness, Shatta Wale has produced some amazing songs both locally and internationally.

However, after releasing 967 songs via Boomplay, he ought to have been in the first position which was occupied by Sarkodie, an arch-rival.
Stonebwoy and Kidi occupied the second and fifth positions respectively.
