Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom’s Son Who Is A Doctor in the U.S Appointed Cancer Czar by President Joe Biden

One of Paa Kwesi Nduom’s children, Dr Edjah Nduom, has been appointed as Cancer Czar by sitting U.S President Joe Biden.

Dr Nduom is to lead a team to spearhead the United States’ fight against cancer.

A neurosurgeon, the son of the Ghanaian businessman and politician received his special appointment during a White House meeting held Wednesday, February 2nd 2022

.On that day, the Federal Cancer Moonshop Research Programme Initiative was launched at the White House.

The President revealed he had chosen the American born Ghanaian to lead the fight against the deadly disease.

The initiative’s goal is to cut cancer death rates by 50% and improve the experience of battling it.

“Just as we harnessed science to develop cutting-edge COVID-19 vaccines and treatments, we will bring a sense of urgency in the fight against cancer.” Biden said.

Dr Edjah Nduom said: “From my vantage point, as a neurosurgeon scientist, constantly thinking of ways to treat cancer patients, to fight cancer, and seeing countless patients every year, I can confidently say this is the most exciting moment in history of our field,”

The first black man to chair the Young Neurosurgeons Committee of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Dr Nduom holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
