Nigerian singer Davido has pledged to go all out this year when it comes to extravagant spending and purchasing of luxury properties.
In our entertainment space, showing off riches is encouraged and many personalities use that as a tool to establish their dominance in the industry.
It is one thing having money to spend and another trying to make people believe you have money to spend.
Davido claims he is going to build for himself 3 new mansions, buy 5 luxury vehicles and add a Private jet to his tall list of properties.
He already owns mansions littered across Nigeria, including a million Naira mansion at the expensive Banana Island in Nigeria. He recently purchased his 3rd Lamborghini and showed photo of it being shipped to Lagos.
The multiple award-winning singer does not own a Private Jet yet but he flies around in his father’s Private Jet. He wants to have his own jet and has hinted on buying one this year.
His 2022 ambitions has been tagged as extreme spending and bragging by many Nigerians on social media after the singer shared the video disclosing his intentions.
Some argued that Davido promised to take care of some orphans and even had his friends donate to that effect but is now planning to waste the money.
