Nigerian Gospel Singer Announces Break from Ministry After Being Exposed for Cheating on His Wife and Impregnating U.S Based Woman

A Nigerian gospel singer has been busted cheating on his wife, forcing him to announce a break from his ministry.

Sammie Okposo was alleged to have impregnated a woman he met in the U.S whilst on tour during a torrid affair.

The woman, who identifies herself as African Dull, revealed their steamy affair in a recent interview.

According to her, she met Samme in Dallas whilst he was on tour.

They struck up a relationship and he impregnated her but tried to shirk his responsibilities when she told him.

African Dull, therefore, decided to come out and expose him.

After he was exposed, Sammie has come out to admit his wrongdoing.

He apologised to his wife and revealed he’s stepping down from ministry for a while.

“On my recent trip to the USA (Late 2021) I got intimately involved with a lady, knowing that this was not appropriate as a married man and a minister of the gospel,” he wrote.

“I am ashamed and regret my actions as it has caused a lot of pain to my dear wife Ozioma, my family, and I.

“As I work in making peace with God, repenting and asking for His forgiveness, I am suspending myself from all ministry work until full restoration as this is what is proper and what I know I owe God and His people,” he added.
